Yes, technically, it is the afternoon, but I’ve got an ushering gig tonight, and Sunday Night turns into Monday Morning surprisingly quickly. My week of knitting in brief:
Due to winter transit delays in our area, knitting time on the bus has been plentiful. It’s always nice to be able to kick back, relax, and let someone else do the driving.
My Owl Nugget numbers are growing due to increased demand. There are currently six little bodies ready and waiting for eyes, stuffing, and expressions. Spending more time knitting has been great for me, as my skills and understanding of different techniques are growing daily. I’m getting more confident, and giving away hand made items that I am so proud of is an amazing thing. Nothing makes me happier than having a friend come by the house and tell me that they love my work. Surprising them by suggesting they take home a new fluffy little friend is an awesome feeling – especially knowing that it will be treasured in their space for years to come. <3
Lastly, I spent some time updating my Ravelry page. Check it out, and friend me if you’re a member! If you’re not a member, sign up for an account and show off your beautiful work. It’s a free site, and really user friendly. Plus, it’s full of helpful people who are willing and able to answer your knitting questions, and there is a ginormous pattern library, too. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Hope you had a great week, friends!
